Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI) International

Founded in 1988, Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRI) is the oldest and largest nonprofit organization that helps companies and government agencies around the world prepare for and recover from disasters by providing training in business continuity and risk management.

DRI International has certified more than 20,000 resilience professionals working in more than 100 countries and 95 percent of Fortune 100 companies.

DRI International offers 15 individual certifications, including the globally recognized CBCP certification, and certifies organizations as resilient businesses.

DRI France

Disaster Recovery Institute International has been in France since 2023.

DRI France courses are taught in French and English by instructors who are certified by DRI International and come from corporate and consulting backgrounds in business continuity.

The mission of DRI France is to promote the awareness and skills of Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery and Cyber Resilience specialists active in public and private companies in our country.

DRI International in the world

DRI International trains and certifies Business Continuity Management specialists based on DRI Professional Practices 2023 first published in the 1980s and subsequently updated several times so that they remain current. The current version, also available in French, is from 2023.

DRI International also publishes DRI Glossary , a document that collects all definitions used within this discipline.

DRI International offers training programs ranging from introductory to master’s level in a variety of specialties and in multiple languages; online and in-person continuing education opportunities; and an annual conference dedicated to the profession of resilience. DRI supports charitable activities through the DRI Foundation.
